"Adventure Day Home"

Every year, my Dad and I go on an annual Father-Daughter trip to Mammoth. My dad snowboards and I ski. Each time I get on the slopes I end up making a wrong turn. I ended up going the wrong way and had to purposely fall so I would stop myself in time before I started sliding down the slippery slopes. My dad was really good at snowboarding, so he went faster than me. When I was younger, my dad was always the leader but now since I'm older, he has me go in front but I usually make the wrong turns and get myself lost. This year while I was at Mammoth, I slipped off the slope and went straight down a black diamond...

Ridiculously close to my face

Activity 1: I watched a video on how not to copyright images and videos. Computers can manipulate your image without copyrights. Everyone needs permission to use another person picture, video, or sound. Creative comments have 6 different licenses and if you don't address the picture to the owner properly, you are basically stealing someone's creation. Make sure that when you use someone else's work, give the original owner credit. In Mrs. Y's video of switching up the nametags on her student's artwork, the students said that it felt like someone took all the credit for their hard work. It's always important to make sure that the owner gets the credit they deserve.

Stop Suicide and Start Smiling.

Something that has been on my mind for years is how does the thought of suicide come into action. I've done some research and found out that stress drives 40 teenagers to suicide every year. Each year, 34,598 people commit suicide which is an average of 94 people committing suicide each day. Suicide is the eleventh most leading death of all times. It starts out as a lot of homework or grief and then turns into something much more. It hurts to know that people are less fortunate than I am and go to the trouble of ending their lives. Everyone needs to help out with this live-taking problem. Try and make everyone feel like they belong on this Earth and make sure that if someone needs help, someone will make sure they get what they need. Make everyone's lives matter, not just the people that are in the community. Everyone is fighting their own battle and at the end of the day, everyone is human. Make everyone feel as they belong, not an outcast. Stop suicide and start smiling! #BAD2016

Just About Me

Hi, my name is Emily. I love playing soccer and I play on a club soccer team. I'm number 24 because that's my lucky number. I enjoy going to sleepaway camp over the summer. At Canyon Creek, I tube on Lake Castaic and have a blast. I have a nine-year-old brother and a dog named Ginger. I also have two amazing parents that I love so much! I love Shawn Mendes and his new album.    This avatar represents me because I tried to portray her to appear to always be smiling like I am. To add on to that, my favorite color is blue and in this image, I'm wearing a blue jacket. When I go to more tropical places, my eye color changed from blueish-green to plain blue. Last but not least, I chose a hair color that is almost exactly my hair color.P.S.
